James Wardell - Wow just wow!!! Amazing location perfect for a weekend getaway. The whole site beautifully landscaped and the pods have their own personalitys the way they are set up. We stopped in the Willow pod which was immaculate and sheltered with trees which gave us alot of privacy. Thanks to Clare and Steve who were very welcoming and took care of the hottub keeping it warm for us while we were out exploring the area.

Michelle Rothery - Just arrived home from our weekend away at Wigwam holidays Charnwood Forest. I've never stayed in a more beautiful place, the wigwams are beautiful, clean and fully equipped and are set within the most stunning area. You can do has little or has much has you desire, the village of Newton Linford is a nice walk away where you will find lovely dog friendly pubs and tea rooms aswell has a fabulous park which on a warm day you can spend the whole day exploring, and letting the children paddle in the water. In the other direction is Markfield where you will find a coop for essentials and have the choice of a few takeaways. Claire and Steve at the site were very welcoming and very knowledgeable about the local area they offered advise which helped us plan out our stay. We had the most wonderful stay with or 2 little girls and our dog. Thank you.x

Lucy Jack - I couldn't recommend this place enough!! I spent 2 nights here with my boyfriend and we had such a wonderful time. Charnwood forest was so charming and intimate, with just 6 separate cabins surrounding a little lake. We booked a Cabin with the wood fired Hot tub, which we loved, they're very private, quiet and relaxing, looking out onto a field with a some horses. And of course, the hosts - Clare & Steve were amazing, so welcoming and helpful with great local recommendations. As a result, we enjoyed a walk to Bradgate Park to see the many herds of Deer and historic ruins, and stopped by the local Tearoom on the way - highly recommend the Scones!!

Kate Rivett - To give this some context, you probably need to know that I am a luxury resort loving, boutique hotel visiting, high end holiday cottage staying kinda girl. I last camped as a 20-something Young Farmer and have never been glamping in my life. So did I enjoy it.... you bet I did! The glamping pods are adorably self contained (so no trudging to a toilet block in the middle of the night) and have pretty much what you need in terms of basics. Each pod is relatively secluded and all have wooden decking that overlooks a pretty pond. Claire and Steven were super friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The waft if woodsmoke from neighbouring fire pits enhanced the coziness factor and lots of walks on the doorstep helped to build up an appetite. All in all, very soul soothing and a welcome step back from the business and stress of daily life.

Nicola Pursglove  - We have just returned from a perfect weekend celebrating a special birthday with family and friends.  The cabins were spotless and well equipped and the hot tubs were used constantly and were a real treat. The site was beautiful and location was fabulous with good pubs (with good food) and Bradgate Park an easy walk.  Clare and Steve organised my birthday BBQ on Saturday night - the marquee and site looked amazing and everyone commented on how good the food was.  A magical weekend we will never forget!

Helen Cheslyn  - I would 100% recommend wigwam holidays charnwood,  an absolute gem of a place. total relaxation in the most gorgeous setting. Clare and Steve and Fred the dog are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.

The surroundings were lovely and tranquil, with the woodland and central pond. We got to enjoy the magic of outdoor living with some home comforts.
