Less than 7 miles from Sutton Coldfield and an hour’s drive from Leicester, our farm is close to the historic towns of Seckington and Tamworth. With so much to see and do, we are the perfect base to explore a vibrant and beautiful area of England.

Seven luxury en-suite Wigwam Cabins - five with private wood fired hot tubs - are nestled in a beautiful spot in the lush and green countryside. The team is ready to give you a warm welcome as you spend your well earned break on our lovely working farm. Our 3 dog-friendly cabins are enclosed and fenced around the patio area.

Unwind and relax on our farm
Sometimes the best days are all about doing very little. The team at Wigwam Holidays Saxon Meadow have made it very easy to enjoy a chilled day where relaxing is the top priority! Book in for a massage at the onsite treatment room - The Beauty Barn or take a gentle stroll through the walking and cycle routes around the fields. There’s always time to pop the cork of something tasty and enjoy it in your heated hot tub and a sheltered BBQ lodge means you can enjoy a feast with your family and friends.

There are three local pubs in walking distance from the site, so if you do feel you need to stretch your legs - it’s worth checking them out for the fine ales and local banter.

Conkers Family Centre and Nature Park 
Less than 10 miles from Wigwam Holidays Saxon Meadow (a short drive along the A444) and deep in the heart of the National Forest sits Conkers. An outdoor activity and adventure paradise for all ages (with lots to do on rainy days, too). The park is set on 120 acres of mature forest and boasts over 100 interactive activities and exhibits - including train rides, boating, sky ropes, climbing, adventure play and sky towers. Allow for a whole day to make the most of this incredible place. Plenty of shady spots for picnics, but of course there’s a tasty cafe for a treat.

Tamworth Castle
Spend the day wandering through 900 years of history! The fully furnished rooms and hallways give visitors a very real sense of how the castle was used by the Victorians, Tudors, Normans and Saxons who lived within its walls. Guided tours through the castle and around the grounds are rich in stories and real-life history and themed events throughout the year mean there’s always something interesting going on at Tamworth Castle.

Twycross Zoo 
Just six miles from Wigwam Holidays Saxon Meadow is the delightful Twycross Zoo. Open throughout the year, this family zoo is an award-winning park with over 500 animals to visit. With indoor and outdoor activities and interactive experiences, there are lots to do even if the weather is not on your side.

Drayton Manor Park
Drive along the B5493 for less than 20 minutes and you’ll find yourself immersed in a world of fun and adventure at Drayton Manor Park. Official home to Thomas Land (for those not in the know, that’s the cheery blue train - Thomas the Tank Engine and friends), this park plays host to so much more including a 15 acre zoo, over 100 rides and roller-coasters, a cinema and a haunted house that will push you to the edge! A great day out for kids of all ages - and the young at heart.
