Pease Bay
A short walk from your Wigwam Cabin, popular with surfers, so jump in, catch a wave and enjoy. Delightful rock pools offer great entertainment at low tide and there's a restaurant and shop for refreshments and provisions. A children's play park can also be found at this lovely location.
Iconic walks along the John Muir Way & Southern Upland Way
Many walkers choose to book into Wigwam Holidays Cove Farm as they make their way along two of Scotland’s well known walks. The Southern Upland Way runs by Cockburnspath and links further onto the John Muir Way via the John Muir Link. Even if the full walk is not on your hit list for activities this holiday, the paths are stunning and full of rich scenery and wildlife so a shorter walk and a picnic is always enjoyable.
Bass Rock Boat Trip
The Bass Rock has played a vital part throughout history. It has been a religious retreat, a prison, a fortress and a stronghold in the bloody wars between Scotland and England. Today, as the world’s largest colony of gannets, it enjoys a calmer pace of life - albeit rather noisy!
Boat trips from North Berwick - a half hour drive along the A1 - can take you to the island to see the birds for yourself and if you visit neighbouring islands Fidra and Craigleith you can even spot puffins.
