We have a low noise policy on site – Orchard Stables is close to residential properties and has an agreement made with the local planning council to keep noise to a minimum. We have a strict no music policy outside the cabins and if music is played inside the cabins then consideration should be made to other campers. A quiet time after 10pm is to assist in a relaxing and peaceful holiday for all.

How many Wigwams does your site have? 

Six Running Water Deluxe Wigwam Cabins, all en-suite. 4 of which have Wood Fired Hot Tubs. “The Shires, Clydesdale, Shetland, Dartmoor, Hackney, Connemara”

When is your site open?

 All year-round.

Do you allow dogs/pets? If so, is there a pet charge? 

Yes. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome with prior notice and for an additional charge of £10 per dog per night. Dogs must be kept on a lead so as not to startle the horses. Dogs must not be left in the cabins unattended. 

Is the site suitable for children? 

There isn’t a designated play area but lots of super walks and bike tracks.

Do you accept groups, parties, or celebrations? 

No stag, hen parties, or adult groups. We do however welcome quiet family and social groups.  We ask that all groups respect our neighbours and other guests by abiding with our site policy of keeping noise to a minimum after 10pm.

Do you allow campfires? 

Only within the provided BBQ/Fire Pits and with firewood purchased from us. Please no coal or charcoal or disposable BBQ’s. Chinese lanterns and fireworks are strictly forbidden.

Is there parking next to the Wigwams? If not how close is the parking area?

Yes, there are 2 carparks, 1 for 4 cabins and 1 for 2 cabins. 

From what time can I check-in from?

4pm is the earliest time. Earlier check in can sometimes be arranged in quieter times.

What is the latest time I can check-in?

Please aim to check in before 6pm, if this is not possible, then please email us to arrange.

What time do I need to vacate the Wigwam?

10.00 A.M prompt please to ensure our highest standard of cleanliness.

Do you have a shop/reception onsite and when is it open?

Yes there is an honesty shop on site and a reception (not always maned) 

How many toilets and showers do you have onsite?

There is a toilet and shower in each cabin.

Do you have a family shower for babies?

All cabins are en-suite.

How close is the nearest pub or restaurant (miles)? 

There are two in the village, just a short walk away. The Royal Oak pub and restaurant which is 0.5miles and Rose Orchard Chinese

Restaurant which is 0.4 miles. There is also The Village Fish Bar takeaway, 0.6 miles.

How far to the nearest supermarket (miles)?

There is a large co-op in the village, 0.6 miles.

How far is it from public transport?

The nearest bus stop to Newark is 0.3 miles. The nearest train station to Lincoln and Newark and Nottingham is 1.1 miles.

Is there WiFi access on site?

Not yet but there is good 4G
