Lost Shore isn't just a wave pool. It's a 60-acre country park in the heart of Scotland - built for surfers, but made for everyone. Whether you're here to catch waves, unwind in the sauna, or just eat good food by the water, it's all on-site and ready for you.

The Wave

Europe's largest wave pool. Powered by Wavegarden Cove technology, the Cove generates up to 1,000 waves per hour - perfectly shaped, completely consistent, and right on your doorstep. From whitewater rollers to head-high barrels, there's a wave setting for every level.

Surf Lessons

Never surfed before? You're in the right place. Our ISA-qualified instructors work with groups of no more than 8, so you get the coaching you actually need. Every lesson includes a 30-minute land session followed by 60 minutes in the water - and all your kit is provided.

Surf Sessions

Already got the basics? Jump straight into a 60-minute session in the Cove. Pick your wave setting and go - you can expect around 10 to 15 waves per session, with 20 surfers sharing the water. Softboard hire is included in the session price.

  • Cruiser - thigh to waist-high, gentle open faces - from £60
  • Turns - waist to chest-high with steeper sections - from £60
  • Manoeuvres - chest to shoulder-high, powerful waves - from £70

SurfSkate Academy

Surfskating brings the feeling of surfing to dry land - and it's one of the best ways to build technique away from the water. Suitable for complete beginners to experienced surfers, all equipment is provided.

Food and Drink

Three kitchens, one waterfront location, open every day. The Lost Kitchen food hub sits right beside the Cove - so you can grab breakfast before your session, refuel after it, or just settle in and watch the waves roll in over a pizza.

  • Lost Kitchen - breakfast and all-day dining - open daily 8AM to 4PM
  • Lost Flock - lunch and evening kitchen - open Wednesday to Sunday, 12PM to 9PM
  • Civerinos - pizza, all day - open daily 11AM to 8PM

Lost Shore is a cashless resort. Card and contactless only. Dogs on leads are welcome in the Canteen.

Spa Studio

Nature-rooted treatments designed to calm the body and clear the mind. Whether you're after a full-body ritual or a quick reset between sessions, the Spa Studio has you covered - with massages, facials, nail services, and membership options for regulars.

Spear Sauna

A wood-fired sauna overlooking the Cove. Book a 30-minute slot, a 60-minute public session, or a private hour to yourself. The Spear also hosts regular programming - yoga, run club, and sound baths - so check the What's On calendar for what's coming up.

  • Friday - 12:15PM to 8:15PM
  • Saturday and Sunday - 10:15AM to 6:15PM
  • Fortnightly Wednesday evenings - 6PM to 8PM

Accommodation

53 luxury units, all on-site. Stay by the water in a Waterfront Pod or Lodge, or head uphill to a Hilltop Lodge with views across the resort. Units sleep up to 8 guests, with linen and towels included. Ten Hilltop Lodges are dog-friendly, and six units are fully accessible.

Country Park and Viewing Terrace

The resort sits within 60 acres of country park, built on the site of the former Craigpark Quarry. Walk the trails, take in the landscape, or pull up a spot on the viewing terrace and watch the Cove do its thing. No session needed.

Surf Shop
