It includes important information on cancellation policies and the amenities and services available at our Wigwam Holidays site, which will assist you with planning your holiday.

Maximum insured occupancy per Wigwam Cabin is strictly as follows-

MAX 2 ADULTS in each Running Water Wigwam Cabin

MAX 2 ADULTS in our Running Water Wigwam Cabin with Hot Tub.

We offer Adult-only accommodation (Over 18 yrs of age). Should you turn up with children, we reserve the right to refuse accommodation for you & there will be no refunds offered.

Exclusive use of hot tub.

The wood fired hot tub is for the use of guests staying at Wigwam 4 only. No other guests are permitted to use the hot tub.  

NO PETS are allowed on site (even when kept in a vehicle).

Should you arrive & exceed the permitted number of persons, or with pets, we reserve the right to refuse your accommodation and no refund will be given.

Payment Policy

To secure your booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. We do not accept provisional bookings, so please do not make a reservation unless you are in a position to honour it. Please contact us directly if you would prefer to make a telephone booking.

Cancellation/No Show Policy

In the event of cancellations or no-shows, we do not offer any full or partial refund. Please note the Highlands and Islands are subject to adverse weather conditions, which may result in bridge closures and ferry cancellations. We cannot be held accountable for such events, and as such, no refunds will be given.  Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance prior to booking with us.

Travel Insurance

We strongly advise you take out the appropriate levels of travel insurance so you can have peace of mind that your costs will be covered, should you need to cancel your holiday for any reason. We will always try to help with travel insurance claims and can provide any proof of booking, etc if necessary.

WiFi / Smoking

We do not offer WiFi in the Cabins. We have attempted use of WiFi boxes, but the signal has been too unreliable.

Smoking is not permitted inside the Wigwam Cabins. As this is a working croft, please dispose of any cigarette butts appropriately.

Dogs and Pets

We do not accept dogs or any other pets on site.

Croft Safety

Do not enter fields enclosed by fencing & please do not climb fences. Gates must be closed behind you.

Firepits & BBQs must not be left unattended - please ensure they are put out once you are finished for the evening.

Arrival/Departure Procedures

Check-in is between 4pm to 8pm. Check out is by 10am 

Cars

Parking is available for one car beside each Wigwam Cabin. We do not have Electric Charging facilities for EVs. We do not allow EVs to be charged from the Cabins.

Group Bookings

Please contact us directly to discuss bookings for larger groups or corporate events.

Code of Conduct

We expect our guests to look after and respect the site and the Wigwam Cabin you are staying in. Shulista is a quiet, rural township and we ask that there is no excessive noise at any time and to keep noise levels to a minimum after 10pm. . Whilst we clean all Wigwam Cabins, we do ask that guests leave them tidy and place all rubbish in bins provided at the top gates. Please do not leave any food in the fridge. All dishes should be washed, dried and put away in the kitchen area. 

Complaints Procedure

We take all comments from guests seriously. In the unlikely event that you wish to make a complaint, you can contact us by email or telephone and we will respond. We will try to resolve any issues as soon as possible.
