How many Wigwam® Cabins does your site have?

We have 8 Running Water Deluxe Wigwam® Cabins.

When is your site open?

All year round.

Do you allow dogs/pets? If so, is there a pet charge?

We allow dogs in 4 out of the 8 Wigwam® Cabins. A tariff of £5 per night applies per dog maximum 2 dogs per cabin. Dogs MUST be kept on leads at all times when sheep are in the fields (please ask for details of where to take your dog/dogs for morning runs) We have several walks nearby ask us for details.

Is the site suitable for children?

Lovely field for children to run around and play games, small playground for under 12's, new playing field with zip line and full size football net coming soon.

Do you accept groups, parties or celebrations?

We welcome family and social groups, no stag or hen parties, we ask that all groups respect our neighbours and other guests by abiding with our site policy of keeping noise to a minimum after 10pm (please see below for further details)

Do you allow campfires?

All our Wigwam® Cabins come with firepits/BBQ's only firewood packs purchased from site can be used on the firepits, other campfires and use of own wood is not allowed on site.

What is included in one of your standard Wigwam® Cabins?

Included in each of our Wigwam® Cabins you will find:

  • Integrated shower room with walk-in shower, hand basin and toilet
  • Compact kitchen including 2 burner electric hob
  • Toaster, Kettle, Microwave, Fridge

Is electricity included in the tariff?

Yes, our price is inclusive of electricity.

What cooking facilities are provided?

Inside all our Wigwam® Cabins is a small kitchen area and each Wigwam® Cabin comes with an outdoor BBQ for use with wood purchased on site which can be used for cooking please ask for details.

What do I need to bring?

Is there parking next to the Wigwam® Cabins? If not how close is the parking area?

2 Disabled parking spaces next to Wigwam® Cabins.

Pick up and drop off area at the cabins with main parking 125m away.

From what time can I check in from?

Check in is from 3.00pm.

What is the latest time I can check in?

7pm unless prior agreement has been made.

What time do I need to vacate the Wigwam® Cabin?

Checkout is 10.30am on the day of departure.

Do you have a shop/reception onsite and when is it open?

Small shop based in reception with fresh milk, toothpaste, tooth brushes, sweets, ice cream,etc open for guests from 3pm - 7pm

How many toilets and showers do you have onsite?

All cabins come with showers/toilets

Do you have a family shower for babies?

Unfortunately we can not provide this kind of facility.

How close is the nearest pub or restaurant?

The closest pub is 1.2 miles from the site by road which is family and dog friendly, there is also a pub approx 40min walk from site that is family and dog friendly. There are lots of pubs, restaurants and takeaways within 5 miles of the site, each cabin has a folder with local information.

How far to the nearest supermarket?

It is 2 miles to the local Spar in Langho, and 3.5miles to Whalley which has a Co-op and Spar and 6 miles to the nearest large supermarkets at Great Harwood (Tesco, Morrisons, Aldi).

How far is it from public transport?

2 miles to train station with direct access to Manchester and Clitheroe.

400m to bus stop, but buses are quite infrequent.

Is there WiFi access onsite?

Not at present very good 3G/4G

What does it mean low noise policy on site?

Wigwam® Holidays Ribble Valley has a site policy agreed with local planning authority and is a peaceful location at which to enjoy your holiday. All music should be turned off from 10pm, children are not allowed on the play area after dusk/10pm and conversation level noise only outside the cabins after 10pm.

We ask all our guests to follow these simple steps and respect our nieghbours and other gusets so everyone can relax and enjoy their time at Wigwam® Holidays Ribble Valley.

Are your Wigwam® Cabins warm?

The short answer is 'Yes!' Each Wigwam® Cabin is fully heated with an electric heater in the main area and a heated towel rail in the bathroom included. The Wigwam® Cabins are particularly well insulated and retain the heat. That is why our Wigwam® Cabins can be booked 365 days per year.

How many guests can you fit inside a Wigwam® Cabin?

Our Running Water Deluxe Wigwam® Cabins sleep four adults or a family of five if three children can fit accross a double bed. They are also spacious enough to accommodate a travel cot.
