How many Wigwam Cabins does your site have?   

Two, they are 30 metres apart.

How many people can stay in one cabin?

Two adults, and there is a sofa bed suitable for two children, for a booking request of more than two adults please contact the host direct. Children are classed as under 16s.

When is your site open?  

 All year.

Do you allow dogs?

1 large or 2 small dogs in Red Kite, £8 per night, no dogs in Buzzard.

Is the site suitable for children?

Each cabin has a grassed area suitable for children to play, there are two wooden gates into the site which we ask guests to keep closed if there are children or dogs on site. There is also a grassed area between the two cabins.

Are there steps up to the Wigwam Cabins?

Yes. Each cabin has two sets of steps onto the decking.

Do you allow campfires?

No campfires allowed. Each cabin has a fire pit - fire starter packs and logs are available to purchase as extras.

What do I need to bring?

Towels, food, toiletries, swimming costumes.  All bedding is provided.

Is there parking next to the Wigwam Cabins?

Yes parking is next to the cabins. There is room for 2 cars at each cabin. 

What time can I check in from?

 3.00pm.

What is the latest time I can check in?

7.00pm, unless agreed differently with the owner.

What time do I need to vacate the Wigwam Cabin?

By 10.00 am please.

How big is the hot tub?

The electric hot tub will comfortably seat four adults.

Do you have a shop/reception onsite?

 No.

How close is the nearest pub or restaurant? 

Greyhound in Llangunllo 2 miles (no food), Castle Inn Knucklas 2.5 miles (food). Knighton and Beguildy also have pubs serving food.

How close are the nearest takeaways?

Knighton ( 5 miles) has four takeaways: a Chinese, Indian, kebab/pizza and a fish and chip shop. The Castle Inn in Knucklas also does takeaways, not every night. They have different opening hours in Summer and Winter.

How close is the nearest supermarket? 

 Co-op in Knighton (5 miles), Presteigne also has food shops.

How far is it from public transport?

Train stations in Knighton (5 miles), Knucklas ( 2.5 miles), Llangunllo (2 miles). Local bus services in Knighton and Presteigne.

Is it mains water?

No, it is spring or borehole water with UV filters, water tested every 12 months.

Is it a working farm? 

Yes, it is a traditional Welsh hill beef and sheep farm.

Can the cabin be decorated for a special event?

Yes, this is available as an optional extra: fairy lights, bunting, banners, 1 helium balloon and 6 latex balloons, cost £30.00.  You are welcome to take the balloons home with you but please leave the banners and bunting, thank you.
