Take an afternoon out visiting this picturesque Georgian market town; sample the artisan chocolatiers, visit the imposing Norman keep at Richmond Castle and wander down to the roaring waterfalls. If you have time, venture further and follow the river to Easby Abbey to witness the remains of the magnificent refectory, gatehouse and canons' dormitory.
