Join Emerald the Elf and her friend Rudolf  - they need your help to rescue Santa in time for Christmas!
Our lovely yurts will be transformed into magical locations for this fun packed family show packed with lots of interactive games and challenges with many opportunities to join in.
Includes a meeting with Santa and a gift.

Become a Habitat Helper with Yorkshire Coast Nature

Saturday 22nd February 10am -12noon

A wonderful opportunity to help nature on the farm and become a “Habitat Helper” with the team from Yorkshire Coast Nature. From bird feeders, to bee BNB’s, there is always something to do to improve our wildlife habitats around the farm so come along and do your bit for wildlife and earn yourself a certificate.

Experience the first signs of Spring arriving on the farm with this gentle wildlife ramble around the nature trail. Spot hares displaying in the fields and barn owls hunting over the grassland. Do some detective work and see what you and your family can spot.

Easter is a lot about eggs and new signs of life. What signs can you find in nature and what do you know about eggs and nests? Which bird lays which egg? And where do birds nest? Team challenge….who can build the best nest? Prizes for the best.

The Great Owl and Hare Ramble with Yorkshire Coast Nature

Spring is a good time to see wildlife and Humble-Bee Farm is a lovely setting from which to explore the fields for some of our most popular animals. Join us on this hunt for barn owls and brown hares.

Easter Bunnies Egg-Stravaganza! at Humble Bee Farm

“Come and help the Easter Bunny find all his magic eggs as a cheeky trickster has hidden them all around the farm. Join us for a fun filled session of games and adventure, and follow the clues to bring back all his yummy chocolate– you might even get to taste some yourself….! £12 per family pass.

Wednesday 15th April

Hidden Horizons, Bushcraft 

Join the Hidden Horizons team for a 2hr bushcraft session, we will make a shelter, light a fire, forage some food and cook it. Sessions will start at 10am and 4:00pm. Price is £9 per person under 5's free.

Saturday 9th May 4pm-6pm

VE Day Celebrations with Magical Quest North (open to the public)

Come and join us for a family friendly trip back in time to a traditional 1940s celebration of the 75th anniversary of VE Day.  There will be Dads’ Army fun training, a chance to Dig for Victory and get yourself styled for the 1940s!  Suitable for all ages.

£15 per family pass. Food and drink available to purchase. Cash only

Saturday 16th May 

A weekend all about walking at Humble Bee Farm

Bring your boots, picnics and binoculars! You can explore Humble Bees nature walks, enjoy the Fordon route, or set off along the Yorkshire Wolds Way! Maps will be provided, please note there is no walking leader.

An evening all about owls with Yorkshire Coast Nature

Owls are fascinating birds and here at Humble Bee farm we are lucky to have barn owls. Join us on a walk to find these beautiful birds and more about where they live, what they eat and what we can do to help them on the farm.

Father’s Day weekend – Become a Wildlife Photographer

Event provided by Yorkshire Coast Nature

Cameras at the ready children, ready to join the team at Yorkshire Coast Nature and pick up some tips on wildlife photography so that you can enter our Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition for children. Whether it’s a close up of a ladybird, the beautiful surrounding countryside or if you are lucky enough to get close to a hare, then be ready with your camera. Dads can help out if they want!

Who knows what we might find.

Dinosaur Coast Discovery Day with Hidden Horizons

10am-12noon Cayton Bay Fossil Hunt

Join us for a fossil hunting trip along Cayton Bay, south of Scarborough.  Each trip is different, but we should find a wide range of fossils from the Jurassic, around 160 million years ago. Suitable for all. We do suggest wellies or stout footwear and a bag or bucket to put your finds in.

Meet: Outside the main entrance to the Beach View Holiday Park at the top of the main path down to Cayton Bay.

Booking essential Adults: £9. 5 - 16yrs: £5. Under 5s: FREE. 

Family Ticket (2 Adults & 3 children): £25

All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult

Please note we reserve the right to close bookings when we believe a trip has reached full capacity, we will always ensure we have enough leaders on the day.

2pm - 4pm Fossil making and dinosaur discovery

Meet at Humble Bee Farm for an afternoon of fossil making and dinosaur discovery. Everyone will have the chance to make their own fossil replica and paint at least one that we will provide for you, meaning you get to take two replicas home each.

Booking essential. Adults: £5. 5 - 16yrs: £3. Under 5s: FREE

Join the Hidden Horizons team for an evening of exploring the night skies that are some of the darkest in the UK at Humble Bee Farm.  The team will have both their very large telescope and the indoor stardome (in case the weather is poor), you don't need to bring anything but a blanket to lie on and a pair of binoculars can be helpful! Price is £14 adult and £9 child, under 5s free.

Brilliant Bonfire Night at Humble Bee Farm
