How many Wigwams does your site have? 

We have 12 Wigwam Lodge Cabins all with private Wood Fired Hot Tubs.

Does your site have hot tubs? 

All our Cabins have Wood Fired Hot Tubs and these are included in your stay as standard.

When is your site open? 

We are open all year round.

Do you allow dogs?

Yes all of our Wigwam cabins are dog friendly. Max of 2 per cabin and charged at £15 per dog, per night.

Do you have any accessible accomodation?

We do yes - a good number of our Wigwam Lodge Cabins contain additional amenities if you require any accessibility. These include wheeled kitchen units and grab rails. Please select this option on the Extras page.

Is the site suitable for children?

Yes the site is suitable with large open grassed spaces. We currently do not have a play park.

Do you accept groups, parties or celebrations?

Yes, if you wish to book more than 2 cabins please contact us directly. Please see our terms and conditions for further information.

Do you allow campfires?

Only within the provided BBQ Fire Pits and with firewood purchased from us. Please, no coal or charcoal.

Is electricity included in the tariff?

It is, yes.

Can I order any extras?

Yes, you can. You can add a Fire Pit Pack, Marshmallows and an Additional Car as extras.

What parking is available on-site? 

We have parking for one car per cabin within 50m of your cabin. Any additonal cars are not permitted on-site and would park at Reception approx 1/4 mile away from the cabins. This is at £10 extra per car.

From what time can I check in from?

3pm - 5pm is our check-in time; check-in after this time is not possible 

What is the earliest time I can check in?

3pm. Please do not arrive before this time as your cabin will not be ready.

What time to I need to vacate the Wigwam® Cabin?

We ask everyone to vacate their Wigwam® Cabin by 10am prompt.

Do you have a shop/reception onsite and when is it open?

We do have a Reception for Check-Ins; details on this will be emailed to you a week before your stay. We currently do not have a shop other than for our Log Store.

How close is the nearest pub or restaurant (miles)?

The nearest pub is The Brownlow Arms in Caldwell, approx. 2 miles away. Other pubs are within a short drive away.

How far to the nearest supermarket (miles)?

Lidl and Co-op are in Richmond (8 miles away). However there is a lovely village shop 1 mile away with daily essentials and café.  Open everyday.

How far is it from public transport?

Bus stop is 1 mile with a limited service.

Train station is 8 miles away in Darlington

Is there WiFi access onsite?

We don’t have any WiFi facility as we encourage you to get “off grid” and relax during your stay. Phone/4G reception is normally quite good if you cant resist yourself!
