All year round
Do you allow dogs/pets? If so, is there a pet charge?
We charge £20 per night per pet.
Is the site suitable for children (i.e. do you have a kid’s play area)?
It is suitable, we are a family-friendly site. There is no play area as yet, but we have farm animals to see and the river running through the site will get kids back to nature!
Do you accept groups, parties or celebrations?
We accept groups by special request, birthdays and other events are suitable at our site.
Do you allow campfires?
We do, each pod will have its own firepit.
What is included in one of your standard Wigwam Cabins?
As standard, the WigWam Cabins include a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and kettle, with a dining area for up to 4 people. The bathroom area has a toilet, sink, and shower. Each pod has outside it a hottub on wooden decking with lighting and a picnic table. Permanent BBQs will be added soon.
What cooking facilities are provided?
There’s a stove top with an oven underneath, as well as the microwave. You can even cook onthe fire for some added authenticity!
What do I need to bring? (bedding, pillows, crockery, cutlery etc)
By all means bring your own bedding, cutlery is provided.
Can I order any extras (i.e. bedding, crockery etc), if so how much for each item?
We will provide bedding packs that will have everything you need, by request for a small fee. We provide celebratory packages for special occasions, as well as dog packs.
Is there parking next to the Wigwams? If not, how close is the parking area?
Our pods on the terrace have their own private car park, less than a minute’s walk from the cabins. The larger cabin has its own private parking directly next to the cabin.
What time can I check in?
Anytime after 3pm, if you would like to arrive sooner, do just getin touch and let us know.
Whatis the latest time I can check in?
7pm is the latest check-in time, however, if this is going to vary, do get in touch and let us know.
What time do I need to vacate the Wigwam?
Checkout times are by 11am, to allow ample time for the pods to be changed over for our next guests.
Do you have a shop/reception onsite and when is it open?
We have an onsite shop and cafe, which opens from 8am peak season, serving hot food and providing basic amenities that you may require.
How many toilets and showers do you have onsite?
Our toilet block has three toilets for the ladies, two for the men with a urinal, and 4 separate shower cubicles. This is used for the whole site,the pods are en-suite.
How close is the nearest pub or restaurant(miles)?
Our nearest pub is approximately one and a half miles away, The Punch Bowl in The Green.
How far to the nearest supermarket(miles)?
Our nearest supermarket is Tesco, approximately three miles away.
How far is it from public transport? (bus stop, railway station = xx miles away)
Our nearest train station is two miles away, the nearest bus is about three miles away. We would recommend getting a taxi from either to get to our site.
Is there WiFi access onsite?
There is no Wi-Fi access on site, however there is rather good mobile service coverage on our site.
