When is your site open?

Our site is open all year round.

Do you allow dogs/pets? If so, is there a pet charge?

Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome on site for £8.50 per dog, per night. Maximum of 2 dogs per cabin. Please clean up after your dog and keep your pet on a lead at all times while on site so we can help our local wildlife feel safe.

Is the site suitable for children?

Yes, the site is very suitable for children. We even have an adventure playground just one minute away from our cabins.

Do you accept groups, parties, or celebrations? 

We accept all types of groups, although recommend calling if you have any special arrangements or questions.  Hen and Stag parties must call prior to booking.

Do you allow campfires?

Fire pits are included with all Wigwam cabins , logs and kindling available to purchase at reception please phone Mark if reception closed his number is on the door. Due to our woodland location we ask that no other burners or BBQ's be used on site please.

What is included in one of your standard Wigwam Cabins (i.e. mattresses, toaster, kettle, etc.)?

Included in each of our Wigwam Cabins you will find:

  • Toaster

  • Kettle

  • Microwave

  • Television or TV/DVD

  • Fridge

  • Kitchenette

  • Full en-suite with heated towel rail

  • Cleaning products for washing up.

  • Brush

  • Washing Up Bowl

  • Basic crockery and cutlery for 4 people (or 6 in the lodges)

  • Frying pan and saucepan

  • Large decking area

  • Firepit/BBQ

  •  Outdoor decking table and chairs

Yes

What cooking facilities are provided?

Inside all our Wigwam Cabins is a small kitchen area with a 2 ring hob and microwave plus each Wigwam comes with an outdoor fire pit/BBQ.

What do I need to bring?

For your stay at Wigwam Holidays Glenlivet you will need to bring with you:

  • Bedding (either sleeping bag or your own duvets, pillows and linen)

  • Towel

  • Clothing appropriate to the season 

  • Cooking ingredients 

  • Dish towel

  • Toiletries  

  • Torch

  • Some Slippers to help your feet stay warm and our cabins stay clean

Can I order any extras, and if so how much for each item?

At Wigwam Holidays Glenlivet there is a number of extras you can order – all are listed under the Extras tab.

Is there parking next to the Wigwam Cabins? If not, how close is the parking area?

There is parking next to each Wigwam Cabin.

From what time can I check in?

Check in time is from 16.00

What is the latest time I can check in?

The latest time for check in is 18.00.  However, we recognise that work commitments often make this difficult.  Therefore, if you are arriving after 18.00 please call the site before 17.00 to arrange for a key to be left.

What time do I need to vacate the Wigwam Cabin?

We ask everyone to vacate their Wigwam Cabin on the date of departure by 10.00

How many toilets and showers do you have onsite?

Each Wigwam Cabin has a full en-suite, and there is an additional accessible customer toilet at reception.

How close is the nearest pub/restaurant?

After just a 2 minute walk from the site into the village you can find a choice of local pubs that serve great food, and also the Clock House restaurant for a more fine dining experience. 

How far to the nearest supermarket?

The nearest supermarket is located in Grantown-on Spey (a 20 minute drive away) however there is a village shop within a 2 minute walk from the site which stocks all of the essentials - and more!  Please note that during the winter months, shops and restaurants may be on reduced hours or operating a winter schedule. 

How far is it from public transport?

You can find a bus stop in Tomintoul - 500m from the site. However bus services are very limited so please always check beforehand; there is also a Moray dial a bus system in operation.

Is there WiFi access on-site?

No unfortunately we do not have Wifi access on site; however there is excellent 4G reception.
