How many Wigwams® does your site have?

We have 6 Running Water Deluxe Wigwam Cabins.
 

When is your site open (ie 12 months a year; Easter to October?

We are open all year round.
 

Do you allow dogs/pets? If so, is there a pet charge?

We do allow well behaved dogs in all of our Wigwam cabins, with a maximum of two dogs

per cabin. The charge is £5 per dog per stay. Dogs to be kept on a lead at all times.
 

Is the site suitable for children (ie do you have a kid’s play area)?

The site is suitable for children; the Wigwam Cabins are located in an enclosed grassy field. We do

not currently have a specific play area, but there is plenty of outdoor space for children to play in.
 

Do you accept groups, parties or celebrations?

Family/social groups welcome.

No hen or stag parties.
 

Do you allow campfires?

Yes, each Wigwam Cabin has its own fire-bowl. Logs and kindling available from us.
 

What is included in one of your standard Wigwam (ie, mattresses, toaster, kettle etc)

  •  1 double bed and 1 double sofa bed with luxury memory foam mattresses

  •  Ensuite shower, toilet, sink and heated towel rail

  •  Small kitchenette fully fitted with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, two hotplates and sink

  •  Cutlery and crockery – chopping board and knife, dinner plates, side plates, bowls, mugs,

           glasses, can and bottle opener, and cutlery.

  •  1 saucepan, 1 frying pan (not to be used with the fire bowl), basic cooking utensils.

  •  Washing-up kit, to include: liquid, sponge, cloth and drying towel.

  •  Dining table and 4 chairs

  •  Heater (electric)

  •  Private gravelled patio area and picnic bench

  •  Complementary Kadai fire bowl

  •  Local information pack

 

Is electricity included in the tariff?

There is no on-site electricity charge as it is included in your tariff.


What cooking facilities are provided?

  •  Microwave

  •  Toaster

  •  2 hotplates

  •  Kettle

  •  Fire-bowl with BBQ grill.
     

What do I need to bring? (Bedding, pillows, crockery, cutlery etc)

  •  Bedding – duvet, sheets, pillows or sleeping bags. (Bedding packs can be added as part of the 'fundamentals' on the booking page. (These can also be ordered on short notice upon arrival) **Please note the double bed is slightly larger than a standard double bed. A fitted king-size sheet will fit.

  •  Towels. (Available as an optional extra)

  •  Beach towels

  •  Recommend you bring a torch as we have little light pollution. Great for star gazing.
     

Can I order any extras (ie bedding, crockery etc), if so how much for each item?

  •  Double bedding pack – includes 2 pillows with pillowcases, fitted sheet, duvet and cover -£20 per set

  •  Towel pack – bath and hand towel - £6 per person per booking.

  •  Fire pack – pack includes matches, firelighters, kindling and logs- £12 per pack

  •  Dog pack – includes bowl and doggie towel - £6 per dog

  •  Marshmallow toasting pack.

  •  Various hampers from our local butcher

 

Is there parking next to the Wigwam? If not how close is the parking area?

Each Wigwam Cabin has its own individual parking directly adjacent to the cabin FOR ONE VEHICLE ONLY. (Please contact us if more than one)


From what time can I check in from?

Check in between 3pm and 5pm. We kindly ask that you please do not arrive before this time as we may still be preparing the cabin/site.

What is the latest time I can check in?

Please check in by 5pm, but if you need to arrive later please let us know.


What time to I need to vacate the Wigwam?

Please check out by 10am on the date of departure.
 

Do you have a shop/reception onsite and when is it open?

No, we do not have an onsite shop. Local shops are1.5 miles away by car in Camelford.


How many toilets and showers do you have onsite?

All the Wigwam cabins are en-suite, so there is no separate toilet/shower blocks.


Do you have a family shower for babies?

No, as all the Wigwam cabins are en-suite.


How close is the nearest pub or restaurant (miles)?

Camelford is 1.5 miles away. There is a pub, café, Chinese takeaway and fish and chip shop.
 

How far to the nearest supermarket (miles)?

1.5 miles away in Camelford. There is also a local farm shop, 1 mile away.

 

How far is it from public transport (bus top, railway station = xx miles away)

There is free parking in Camelford and local buses can be caught from here.


Is there WiFi access onsite?

Yes.

Please be aware that Wi-Fi is offered and freely available. Due to our remote location, our download

speed is not what you would expect in urban areas. The field in which the cabins are located does

also have decent 4G coverage.


Additional Information:

Please bring your own beach towel and dog towels – dog pack available as an optional extra.

There is plenty of space near to store a boat, bicycles and surfboards etc.

Outside wash down area for wetsuits etc and dirty dogs!

Electric car charging point in Camelford – 1.5 miles away.
