Portnalong Wigwams are the latest addition the Croft Bunkhouse and Bothies, Skye’s first independent hostel. They are situated on a 12 acre croft on the West coast of Skye, with panoramic views over the sea and mountains. This is an ideal location for all outdoor activities – the Cuillins at Glenbrittle and Sligachan are only a half hour drive away, and there is a slipway half a mile down the road for launching boats onto Loch Harport.
The local Pub, which serves excellent bar meals, is 500m away, and there is also a local shop nearby.
The wigwams have fridges, radios, and single socket
outlet. There is also access to all of the facilities
in the main bunkhouse (subject to availability), which
include a large kitchen, laundry, and a spacious dining
and lounge area with views over the crofts to the sea.
