Site Description

For a holiday with a difference, bring your little Indians to our unique wigwams!

Each heated wooden wigwam has its own mattresses, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge and barbecue for the true outdoor experience. Just bring your own sleeping bags, pillows, torches, toiletries, plates, tea towels etc.

Call in at the farm shop for your barbecue essentials and set up camp! Wigwam visitors can enjoy our Humble Bee Farm walks and make use of our new shower block including family shower area, baby changing and with disabled access.

We also welcome pets (please enquire for details) and include a dog walking area.

For cooler nights, we have fire pits available for hire with wood.

Our wigwams sleep upto a maximum of 5 persons and they are open all year round and within easy reach of offsite facilities including pubs, takeaways and attractions. close to Scarborough, Whitby and Filey- great for surfing, mountain biking and rambling!

Merchandise: We have a selection of wigwam merchandise available from reception, T-shirts, Indian Headdresses, fridge magnets, keyrings. Ideal gifts to take home.

High Season

July, August, all half terms, New Year - 2 night minimum stay.

Easter, May Day, Jubilee Bank Holiday and August Bank Holiday - 3 night minimum stay applies

Typical prices: a family of 4, Friday and Saturday night: £148

Special weekly family rate of just £450 (Excluding Bank Holidays) throughout July and August only.

2 night minimum stay, £25 per adult per night, £12 per child per night, from 2 to 16 years, under 2s free.

July and August: minimum nightly charge per wigwam is £37 per night, excluding Bank Holidays.

Bank Holidays (Easter, May Day, Jubilee Bank Holiday, August): 3 nights minimum stay for a family of 4 to 5 - £222

PETS: 1 pet per Wigwam @ £5.00 per night.

Special Events Weekends

Valentine Weekend: try our Glamping package for just £175, based on two sharing, including: Fresh bed linen, decorated wigwam (bunting and other items), bacon, sausage and eggs (locally sourced), sparkling wine, chocolates, campfire (weather permitting), fairy lights!

Other special weekends due to take place during 2012.

Mid Season

March, April, May, June, September, October, November, December, January, February (excluding Bank Holiday weekends, Christmas, New Year, Easter, July, August, all school holidays and half terms, special events weekends):

NEW! Mum in a Million Weekend - Friday 16th March, Saturday 17th March and including a later departure time of 12noon on Sunday 18th March 2012 - tariff includes lots of special treats for the family! Tariff: £26 per adult and £14 per child per wigwam per night. Two night minimum stay applies.

Friday and Saturday nights, 2 night minimum stay - £23 per adult per night, £12 per child per night. Minimum nightly charge per wigwam, if one person staying, £32 (Friday and Saturday nights).

PETS: 1 pet per Wigwam @ £5.00 per night

Midweek special rate, Jan, Feb, March, April, May, June (excluding weekends, school hols, bank hols, special events, Easter): Sunday to Thursday, 2 people sharing for two nights, just £55! (Children: £8 per child, aged 2 to 16). PETS: 1 pet per Wigwam @ £5.00 per night This special rate DOES NOT apply in July and August.

Special Autumn/Winter rate: Sept, Oct, Nov and December (excluding weekends, school holidays, any bank holidays, Christmas, special events (ie, Halloween) - £60 based on two people sharing for two nights, Sunday to Thursday. (Children 2yrs to 16 years - £8.00).

PETS: 1 pet per wigwam @ £5.00 per night.

Payment and Reservations

All two night reservations fully payable in advance at the time of booking.

All bank holiday reservations fully payable in advance.

If more than one wigwam booked, then full balance payable 6 weeks before arrival date.

If booking made less than 6 weeks before arrival date, then full balance payable.
