Opening Easter 2011

West Frogwell farm is located in the beautiful Lynher valley at Callington South East Cornwall, we are a small working farm with a menagerie of animals, pigs, calves, horses and donkeys plus a motley collection of ducks geese and chickens.

Our guests are free to wander and enjoy the farm or there are many stunning local walks and activities, although we are deep in the countryside the historic city of Plymouth is a half hour drive away, as is Dartmoor National Park and the fantastic villages of Looe and Polperro.

The world famous Eden project is about an hour away and there are countless other attractions in the local area.

Our Wigwams have been set in a quiet part of the farm and they will be facing once complete a natural wildlife lake, wildlife abounds on our farm, buzzards soar overhead and if you are quiet and lucky you will see wild deer and badgers. In the evening sit around your fire pit and gaze up and stargaze in the awesome clear,clean Cornish air.

We offer these "Glamping Holidays" to take the stress out of camping, no tents to put up, just arrive go to your Wigwam put the kettle on make a cuppa and instantly relax - Glamorous Camping is what it is all about. All of our heated wooden wigwams have their own mattresses, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge, all you need to bring is your own bedding, pillows, toiletries, torches, crockery tea towels etc. Every Wigwam has its own barbeque/fire pit and outside table and chairs.

We have a recently built washroom with all facilities and a small farm shop to supply you with our own farm produce. We also have a basic kitchen building close to the Wigwams where you can prepare simple meals or you are welcome to use the barbeque pits, logs available to purchase at our shop.

Our guests are free to enjoy a taste of country life. Pets are welcome, well behaved and on a lead please as we are a working farm.
