Barnsoul is situated 6 miles west of Dumfries, off the A75 to Shawhead, then we are on the left, one and a half miles along the road to Dunscore.

Barnsoul is a nature lover's paradise. Woodlands, old and new, heath and pond provide an ideal natural habitat for deer, foxes, and red squirrels. More occasional visitors are the otter and badger. Over 100 bird species have been recorded on the farm and the wild flowers abound. Our visitors are welcome to wander over the 300 acres of wooded parkland and enjoy this peaceful rural site. Barnsoul is a working farm.
