Travel Insurance: We recommend that guests have an appropriate level of travel insurance in place for their needs.
Before confirming your booking at Wallsend Wigwams please take the time to read the information below. It includes vital information regarding cancellation policies and the amenities and services available at the Site, which will assist you with planning your holiday.
To secure your booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. We do not accept provisional bookings so please do not make a booking unless you are in the position to honour it.
In the event of cancellations or no-shows we do not offer any (either full or partial) refund.
However, if more than 48 hours notice is given we may, at our discretion, offer an alternative date suitable to you only if we have the availability to do so.
We strongly advise you to take out the appropriate levels of travel insurance so you can have peace of mind that your costs will be covered, should you need to cancel your holiday for any reason.
There is a designated parking area on site. Vehicles may stop to load/unload on the road outside the Wigwam® and then must move to the parking area.
Smoking is not permitted in the Wigwam® cabins or in any communal areas.
Camp fires and guest’s own BBQ’s are not permitted on site.
BBQ’s and firepits with the appropriate fuel may be hired and must be used in the designated areas. We reserve the right to withdraw these services if adverse weather conditions prevail and the situation is deemed un safe to proceed.
Well behaved dog are welcome but must be kept on a lead around the site. Dogs are always the owner’s responsibility and must not be left unattended in the Wigwam®. Please note that a valid vaccination certificate must accompany your pet and be made available at check-in. Pets must be kept under good control and supervised at all times. Disposal bags and bins are provided for pet waste.
We do not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act in any of our accommodation.
Please contact us directly for our policy relating to group bookings. For special occasions please let us know what you are celebrating when you book.
All visitors must report to Wallsend Guest House on arrival and departure. Keys will be issued and collected at these times. All guests will be required to complete a registration card.
Check in time between 14:00 and 18:00, Check out time before 10:00. Late checkout may incur additional charges if not by prior arrangement.
If you have a problem with your accommodation during your stay please advise us as we would like the opportunity to resolve it as soon as possible. Please let us know of any damage , breakages or maintenance issues that you come across.
We take all comments from guests seriously and in the unlikely event that you wish to make a complaint you can contact us by telephone or email and we will respond. We will try to resolve any issues as soon as possible.
Our site is VERY quiet and we would like all guest to consider this before booking. We have a Noise Curfew on site between 22:00 and 07:00.
We expect all our guests to respect and look after the Site and the Wigwam® you are staying in. We also require you to respect your fellow guests and our neighbours in the village and keep noise levels to a minimum after 10.00pm. Parents are responsible for their children, and children must be supervised at all times.
The site is monitored by CCTV for safety and security purposes.
Wallsend Wigwams reserves the right to enter and inspect the Wigwam® cabins at any time. Should the wigwam® be left in an unsatisfactory condition or deliberately damaged in any way we reserve the right to charge costs to the payment method on booking.
