Wigwams 10 years on the go at the Royal Highland Show

Thousands of people from far and wide flocked to Ingliston near Edinburgh this summer to visit the Royal Highland Show. Many see this annual event as the highlight of the Scottish Summer and it certainly was for Wigwam Holidays. This year, the Show marked the tenth anniversary for the company, which was launched at this very event back in June 2010. With four days of glorious sunshine and the busiest Royal Highland Show on record, it was bound to be another successful year.

As ever, Wigwam Holidays arrived at the Show in style. With the turning of their first decade, Wigwams Holidays launched their new brand, ‘Wigwam Cabin Company’, which will replace their existing sister company ‘All Round Buildings’ as the company which designs and builds the wigwam® camping cabins. Both ‘Wigwam Holidays’ and ‘Wigwam Cabin Company’ will come under the umbrella company ‘Wigwam UK’. To celebrate this exciting new re-brand, Wigwam Holidays showed off an eye-catching new logo which was displayed on their impressive new stand, literature and signage. The Wigwam Holidays staff also looked very stylish in their new uniforms, complete with the new logo.

This year on display was an attractive new wigwam® cabin complete with little improvements adding more luxury to an already comfortable wigwam® camping experience. More curvature in the frame presents an even more spacious interior whilst extra overhang at the front of the building provides further shelter from the elements. Sleeping platforms slide off the centre panel to provide comfortable back rests for sitting on during the day. Combine these with existing wigwam® features such as heating, insulation and double glazing and it’s a recipe for the ultimate camping cabin.

Wigwam Holidays were delighted to see so many visitors and friends over the course of the Show. Even the pipe-band stopped outside the wigwam® on more than one occasion! After four full days of hard work, sunshine and ice-cream, another successful Highland Show came and went. The hard work doesn’t stop there however as next month will see Wigwam Holidays travelling further afield for The Royal Welsh Show on the 19-22 July, another event not to be missed!
