January 2012 - All systems go for Wigwam Holidays!

The great news is that we are very much off to a flying start at the begining of this new year. We've been named as one of the up and coming companies to watch in the prestigious 'Invest Edinburgh' magazine.

One of the reasons cited in the article for our being on the way up was the growth we are experiencing as a company with more than 300 Wigwams now on offer throughout our UK sites.  Also mentioned were our plans to expand into Europe as well as other parts of the UK.

It's our goal to become the biggest alternative holiday brand in the UK within 3 years and even this year there's going to plenty to look out for as you're about to discover!

In the coming 12 months we expect many new sites to open, giving you more Wigwam location choices than ever before. There'll also be more sites allowing you the option of on line booking and we've recently launched a new 'Wigwam World' blog that you can link to from the Home Page - with snippets of interest about everything 'wigwam'.

You'll also see us out and about at some of the UK's major agricultural shows such as the Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh and the Royal Welsh at Builth Wells in mid wales. But our very first public outing this year will be in the trade show of the Farm and More diversification event at the Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh on February the 1st.

And if that isn't enough we're about to open our on line shop where you can buy all sorts of Wigwam goodies including mugs, caps, tee-shirts, stickers, hoodies, pens and pencils. So no more head scratching about what to buy your friends and family. If they love Wigwam Holidays they'll just love our merchandise. There's planty to choose from - including tee-shirts and hoodies, mugs, pencils, pens, rubbers and hats.

And to cap it all 'we have just launched our very own downhill mountain bike team - Wigwam Racing. It consists of three very promising young guys - Christo Gallagher, Morgan Gulland, son of our very own director Charles Gulland - and last but not least Camy Kilgour .

These guys will be flying the flag for Wigwam Holidays as they compete at a series of events over the coming season and we'll keep you posted as to how they get on. You can find out more details and read their blogs on their website www.wigwamracing.com
