Situated in the heart of the Highlands, between Forres and Elgin in beautiful Moray Speyside, Wigwam Holidays The Loft at East Grange Farm, is the ideal Scottish camping and glamping destination for those seeking rural beauty, great beaches, history, activities and adventure.
This scenic campsite sits on a 388 acre farm with beautiful countryside and walking trails onsite. It is close to the fantastic beaches of Findhorn, Roseile and Lossiemouth as well as beautiful forest walks through Forestry Commission managed forests.
The Loft is a working farm growing barley for local malt whisky production, rearing sheep and our very friendly small goat herd.
Our Cabins
Our site features a variety of accommodation including Running Water En-suite Wigwam Pods, En-suite Wigwam Lodge Pods (accessible for wheelchair users), Sheiling Cabins, Wilderness Camping (electric and non-electric for tents and campervans) and electric motorhome pitches.
Hot Tub Options
Wood fired hot tubs can be added as optional extra at some of our en-suite cabins and provide an additional treat during your glamping holiday, allowing evenings to be spent relaxing under the stars.
Activities & Things to do
Moray Speyside as an area offers a huge selection of things to do from dolphin spotting on the Moray Firth to outdoor activities and adventure on land, river and sea and an abundance of history and heritage with castles and cathedrals. Walkers, runners and cyclists and adventure bikers will be spoilt for choice with the trails and paths for all abilities.
The Malt Whisky Trail
Moray Speyside is whisky country and The Loft is on the Malt Whisky Trail, with over 50 distilleries locally so whisky tours, tasting and heritage distilleries can add a very special addition to your holiday, as well as providing some great take-home samples and gift options for loved ones. Whisky distilling also provides gin! Many distilleries have branched out into gin production and once again Moray has delicious gin on offer. Craft beer breweries have also sprung up along the beautiful Moray area and again provide fantastic taste sensations to enjoy around the campfire.
There really is lots to do when you visit Moray Speyside.

Please note not all accommodation is suitable for pets.
As a working farm dogs must be kept under control/on leads due to livestock on site.
We also request guests understand that other guests can be afraid of free roaming dogs, please be considerate and keep your dog under control and tidy up any mess.
Our site is a great place for children, with plenty of space for playing and exploring. With walking trails, play areas and a games room. We also have goat feeding sessions most days and adults and children are welcome to join us at feeding time and meet our friendly goats.
As a working farm please be aware children must be supervised at all times. We are not a fenced site. Please be aware of the natural environment (stinging nettles, spiky plants, insects, streams, farm paths and incline so please supervise children).
Please be aware of farm vehicles and other guests vehicles on site.
Children must not play in farm sheds or on any farm machinery.
We love groups at The Loft and we welcome all types of groups, parties and celebrations.
Please note that for all group bookings must be discussed with the site before booking. Please email or call to discuss group booking requirements.
Bookings of more than 6 guests are considered to be group bookings and must not be booked online.
Yes, we allow campfires.
If you want to have a fire onsite you must book a firepit from us, please add this as a chargeable extra to your booking. We can also supply firewood and fire lighting kits at a charge or you can choose to bring your own, please note only recognised fire wood can be burnt onsite (no pallets/found/reclaimed wood).
Be aware of fire dangers and always follow safety instructions and onsite rules with regard to fires.

For Sheiling Cabins and en-suite Wigwam Pods there are mini kitchenette within the cabin with 2 ring hob, microwave, kettle and toaster.
For Wigwam Original guests we have our 'Bothy” which is our communal kitchen with a cooker, fridge, microwave and toaster. New for 2024 the Bothy kitchen also has a range of pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils.
For our Campsite we have the "Nissen Shed". Facilities include kitchen with sink, freezer, microwave, kettle and cooker. Toilets, showers, wet room and baby change area are also located here.
There are additional washing up area on the campsite with hot and cold running water.
All water in facilities is suitable for drinking.
- Please remember to bring bedding if bedding if this is not included in the cabin you have booked. Wigwam Original Family Pods do not include bedding, unless added as an extra. En-suite Wigwams, Sheiling Cabins and Wigwam Original Couple Pods have x1 bedding included. Additional bedding can be added as an extra.
- £1 and £2 coins for the electricity meters in cabins.
- A torch as our site is dark at night (beautiful skies).

At The Loft, there are many extras you can order including:

Our ensuite Wigwam pods have allocated parking located next to the ensuite cabin area.
Our Wigwam Original Pods have parking located close to the cabins in our main car parking area next to out playframe. It is a very short walk to your cabin. This keeps the site peaceful and safe for everyone.
We operate a pedestrian only policy onsite so the grassy areas next to our cabins are car free, quiet and a safe place for children to play and adults to relax.
For our “Wilderness Campsite” there is parking next to the tent pitches.
All accommodation has one parking place included in the price. Additional cars must be booked in advance at an additional charge and will be parked in the overflow car park.
Check in for cabins is from 4pm. We will give access sooner if your accommodation is ready.
Check in for camping is 1pm.
We request all guests have arrived before 10pm to minimise disruption of other guests on site at night.
Your welcome pack and key will be available for you to collect at the check-in box as noted in your pre-arrival email.
Kinloss (2miles) has take-aways and a pub.
Findhorn (4 miles) has 3 pubs which serve great pub food next to the beach and a great coffee shops in the village and at the Findhorn Foundation.
Forres (4 miles) has lots of pubs and restaurants and local take-aways.
