Northside Farm is situated in the scenic Northumberland countryside, just a short distance from Hadrian's Wall and only 20 minutes from Newcastle upon Tyne. It's a working farm that has been in the family since 1940.
Our Wigwams are fully insulated, heated and cosy in every season. They're perfect for families, couples or small groups wanting to experience the beauty of the great outdoors without the inconveniences of camping in a tent.
We have six Wigwams in our orchard, and each is named the type of fruit tree planted around it. Each Wigwam is specially designed to be wheelchair accessible and features: Lighting, heating and electric point (electricity is included in price)
Fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave
Beds sleeping up to five people (bedding & towels are not provided, so don't forget to bring your own)
Outside water tap
Designated parking space
Please note: there is strictly no smoking in the Wigwams. Otherwise a charge may be incurred for cleaning costs.

- Code of Conduct/Practice
We expect all our customers to respect and look after Northside Farm and the Wigwam you are staying in. We also expect that you are respectful of other guests staying with us and ask that after 10pm noise levels are low.
Although there are 4 bathrooms for guests to use we ask that you use them respectfully, other guests also use the same facilities so please make sure you leave the bathrooms in the state you wish to find them in yourselves. When the site is wet and muddy it may be a good idea to remove shoes before entering the bathrooms.
Parents are responsible for their children at all times, we would like to remind you that Northside Farm is a working farm and although we provide a safe space for guests to roam around there can be dangers.
Children are free to use play equipment but must be supervised at all times and Northside Farm to not take any responsibility for any injuries that may occur. The nature walk takes you to a duck pond that is open if you do not stick to the path there is a danger of falling in and a risk of drowning, again Northside Farm does not take any responsibility for this
Strictly no BBQ's on the decking area outside the Wigwams or any cooking to be done inside the Wigwams other than the use of the microwave. This poses as a serious fire risk. The communal kitchen offers and oven for cooking, each wigwam also has a fire and BBQ pit so there is no excuse for breaching this rule.
No wood chopping equipment is allowed on site we provide fire wood packs at a charge should your require them.
You are responsible for disposing of your own rubbish, again if this is not done responsibly poses a risk to wildlife and children that live and visit Northside Farm. A bin is provided in the car park.
If you are making a group booking it is your responsibility to make sure other members of your party are aware of these terms and conditions.
