June wouldn’t be June without the Royal Highland Show and this year we were there with an all new wigwam design, not to mention showing off our fancy new merchandise range to the show going public.

The rain held off this year and despite the credit crunch the show had a bumper attendance. As always there was plenty of interest in wigwam holidays with wigwamers old and new paying the stand a visit and enjoying the heated wooden wigwam on display at Scotland’s premier agricultural and social event.
The Queen was there and gave us a wave as she passed by! It was a pleasure to see so many of our members keeping such good company.

Burgers, ice cream, strawberries and the odd beer kept the staff, happy and the kettle was kept busy with the teas and coffees, always on offer to friends old and new. It was great to hear all the adventures of a very loyal and burgeoning wigwam public. The wigwam was on its way to Glentress and featured even more insulation and generous new curves, giving a very full bodied new look and more space in an already spacious interior, increased overhang keeps all the gear dry whatever the weather.
Make sure you come and see us next year same place same time! Avenue Q, Stand 186
