Mains Farm Wigwams

Mains Farm lies on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs national Park near the village of Thornhill, Stirling. We are at the heart of Scotland surrounded by stunning panoramic views of the Carse of Stirling and the Fintry hills. We are close to the historic City of Stirling with its famous castle and the iconic Wallace Monument. The site is great for families and couples wanting to relax or catch up with friends. There are great walks that start from the campsite or for the more adventurous there is Queen Elizabeth Forrest park, a short 15 minute drive away that caters for walkers and cyclists and for the thrill seekers Go Ape is located there too.

We are a short drive from Doune castle famous for Monty Python and Outlander, Scotland's only lake, Lake of Menteith home to the infant Mary Queen of Scots, Scotland's only Safari Park at Blair Drummond which also has dinosaurs, the Falkirk Wheel and so much more. If its sight seeing, walking, horse riding, fishing, Munroe bagging or just taking it easy then Mains Farm is the place for you. There's a village pub that serves great food and a village shop only a 5 minute walk, plus two great farm shops and restaurants a 10 minute drive away.

We are also within easy reach of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and Dundee for sight seeing, history and shopping.

You need to bring bedding and pillows or sleeping bags and pillows, crockery, cutlery and towels.  
We sell wood for your Fire Pit £6 per bag.  
There is parking next to the Wigwam cabins.
