Site Description

Forest of Dean Wigwams are located on the outskirts of the village of Tidenham just over a mile from the historic market town of Chepstow, at one of the UK's finest inland diving sites in the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Even if you're not an underwater enthusiast, the National Diving and Activity Centre with its impressive 100 ft quarry backdrop, makes an ideal holiday base for cyclists, walkers and other sight seers. And who knows? You could get the diving bug by trying one of our Discover Scuba Diving Course whilst you're here! Being situated beside the A48 gives a double advantage with easy access to the beauty spots and places of interest in both Monmouthshire and Gloucestershire. The location is also convenient for those travelling here via the M4 and M5 corridors.

Please Note: The wigwams are situated close to a large quarry where many of the site based diving activities take place and children should be supervised at all times'

Facilities

Our wigwams are a low cost, all year round alternative to hotels and B&Bs, have a touch more luxury than camping in a tent and are great value for money, warm and comfortable.

Each Wigwam has a kettle with hospitality tray for your refreshment and should you require a top up of tea, coffee, milk or sugar sachets, a member of our staff will be happy to help.

There are sinks, showers and toilets with facilities for disabled visitors with hot and cold water. Each Wigwam has its own outdoor seating area and individual stone camp fire pit next to it, plus designated picnic areas. There are hot food and drinks available with plans in place for a new café bar.
