Site Description
Sands is an ideal location for families of all ages where you can enjoy the best of the great outdoors with breathtaking scenery, tranquil lochs and golden beaches. The Cameron family have owned the park for over 40 years and believe in running the park on informal lines.
The award-winning beach is a stones throw away over the dunes and Longa Island provides some shelter from rough seas. With a concrete slipway for boat launching on site, it's a great location for all sorts of water sports. The adjoining farm is a great attraction for younger visitors especially the Highland Cattle, friendly pigs and sheep shearing in June and July.
Wigwams
Our wooden wigwam cabins each have an electric light, panel heater, standard UK household sockets, mattresses, barbeque slab and their own picnic bench outside. You can choose from our two smaller wigwams which have a raised platform for sleeping or our eight larger wigwams that have cushioned seating, free standing table and a kettle. Our wigwams are located near to the toilet/shower block and there is a kitchen/ dining area for your use.
