Mains Farm lies on the gateway to the New Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park - a world famous area of lochs, glens and hills with breathtaking scenic beauty. Only four miles from Scotland's Safari Park or why not visit the Scottish Wool Centre, Visit the Kid's Farm, feed the lambs, watch sheep being sheared, see the sheepdogs demonstrate their skill and observe traditional spinners and weavers in action.

On the outskirts of Thornhill with a panoramic view over the Carse of Stirling to the Fintry Hills our facilities within walking distance include two country pubs providing bar and restaurant meals with great children's menu. The local country store and newsagent provides for all your self catering needs. There is also a play park within sight of the wigwams. We also have a small play area for under 5's onsite.

All our wigwams now come with a fridge and kettle as standard. There is plenty of room for barbecues, so remember your BBQ coal or disposable BBQ.

A kitchen is provided free of charge. It has sinks, gas cookers with ovens, toasters and a microwave. There is plenty of seating for all the Family in our Cowboy themed dining area.

The Lion & Unicorn is a country pub within five minutes walking distance from the site. It serves restaurant and bar meals. With children welcome. Open 7 days all day all year.
